How It Works

We built Curtain House around one idea: getting beautiful, custom-made window treatments shouldn't be complicated or expensive. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you reach out to the moment your curtains are hanging perfectly.

Step 1 — Explore and enquire

Browse our fabric collections online and get a feel for what suits your space. When you're ready — or if you'd like guidance — send us an enquiry through our contact form or give us a call. There's no pressure and no obligation at this stage.

Step 2 — Free consultation and quote

We'll discuss your rooms, your style preferences, and your windows. If you're not sure what heading style or fabric weight suits your space, we'll guide you through it. We then provide a clear, itemised quote — no hidden costs, no surprises.

Zero make cost — what this means for you

Unlike most curtain retailers in Ireland, we charge zero make cost on all custom orders. Make cost is the charge for cutting, sewing, and finishing your curtains — typically one of the largest parts of the price elsewhere. We've removed it entirely, which means you get genuinely custom-made, premium curtains at a price that competes with off-the-shelf options.

Step 3 — Measurement

Accurate measurements are everything with made-to-measure curtains. We'll guide you through how to measure your windows correctly, or if you'd prefer, we can arrange a home visit to measure for you. We provide a full measurement guide on our website to help you get it right first time.

Step 4 — Production

Once your order is confirmed, your curtains or blinds are made to your exact specifications. Production typically takes [X–X weeks] depending on fabric availability and order volume. We'll keep you updated throughout.

Step 5 — Delivery and installation

We deliver and install across Ireland. Our installation team will contact you to arrange a time that suits you. We hang your curtains, adjust the fit, and leave your home tidy. Most installations are completed within a couple of hours.
